Frequently Asked Questions
What is COVID-19 testing’s purpose?
For the antigen rapid test and PCR-test, a nasal smear is used to detect a SARS-C0V-2 current active infection (COVID-19).
For the antibody rapid test, a fingertip’s blood sample is taken to detect a SARS-C0V-2 current active infection (COVID-19).
Where in Spain can I request the at-home testing?
Our team can directly cover Barcelona’s area in less than 24 hours. As for the remaining areas of Catalonia, we will evaluate it, and it might include a supplement, depending on the distance and arrival time.
On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that tests can be performed in our medical centre at lower prices.
Either one of our nurses of licensed nursing assistants will perform the rapid test and collect a sample for the analysis.
How long to get the results?
– Standard PCR-test: 24 – 48 h

Who administers the test?
